I had a weird issue with enabling Hyper V on a Windows 10 PC that was running 1909 OS Build 18363.720. I will show you how I managed to get Hyper V working on Windows 10 1909.
I enabled Hyper V from Windows Features and restarted. After the reboot, I could see the feature being installed but when I searched for it, it was nowhere to be found.
I went into the BIOS and ensured the Hypervisor settings were enabled. I even tried DISM and powershell and kept getting the same results.
I then finally found the fix!
- Open up an Elevated Command Prompt
- Type in:
bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype on
- Press Enter
- Search for Hyper V and bingo! There it is!
